Account Coordinator (UAL) -- Finance



Job Description

The Account Coordinator focused on finance, under direction and counsel from the Account Director, has day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that Client Accounting needs for a specific Client(s) are met effectively and efficiently, liaising with other departments in the Agency as necessary.



Specific tasks include:



  • Client Accounting

    -Estimate and Purchase Order Processing

    -Invoice Processing

    -Open job numbers

    -Financial reporting for client



  • Special Projects

    -Complete special assignments related to core responsibilities as an individual contributor or as part of a larger team effort



  • Communication/Teamwork

    -Partner with other agency functions (e.g., Arc and Leo Burnett finance, Promotion AM, Print and Database AM) as appropriate to ensure timely delivery of high quality products and services in support of Client business.

    -Keep all team members on the same page regarding key projects and initiatives thru regular status reporting and meetings.

    -Maintain documents per requirements of department document management policies and procedures.



    Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in finance, accounting and / or bill payment in large scale operation

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with Crystal Reports, PeopleSoft and / or Prism a plus!

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • High comfort level with numbers

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project)

  • Experience with direct response (application and strategy) a plus!
