Application Developer - C#, .NET Framework – Chicago

Ajilon Consulting is looking for an Application Developer for our client in downtown Chicago.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for providing high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will be expected to adhere to IT coding standards, procedures, and techniques. You will be expected to write, and contribute to, the technical code and design documentation. You will be expected to understand/apply reusable code design, leverage application architecture/framework capabilities and functionality, and design/develop solutions that are highly reliable, scalable, and perform to meet business-defined service levels.

You will be responsible for developing technical design documentation based on functional design specifications and implementing solutions using structured programming methods. Your design and implemented solutions must be reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet the service levels associated with mission-critical solutions. You will work within a team of developers (user-interface, middle tier business logic, data access) and application architects interfacing with business analysts, database developers, infrastructure architects, and quality assurance testers to ensure the successful delivery of an integrated solution meeting the needs of the business.
