POSITION OVERVIEW:

Gets projects off of the ground and can draw on experience and knowledge to enrich projects every step of the way. Serves as a guide to writers on the team, critiquing their work, helping them create compelling copy and concepts that are strategically sound. An effective presenter both internally and externally.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises the creative direction and goals for projects, ensuring that they fit the client, the brand and the business objectives.
  
  
• Keeps abreast of new technology, resources and trends affecting the creative industry and the client's business and shares this knowledge with the team.
  
  
• Coaches, manages and assists in the development of creative team members, including encouraging growth opportunities within other Arc Worldwide account groups.
  
  
• Manages performance issues in a strong, direct and effective manner.
  
  
• Develops ability to critique art direction, in addition to copywriting.
  
  
  
  REQUIREMENTS:
  
  
• 8+ years experience(including previous promotional agency work), with demonstrated ability to mentor entry- and mid-level talent.
  
  
• Not only a strong writer, but a clear thinker with a sense of strategy for the client's business, and a leader who can inspire a team to reach for their creative best.
  
  
• BS or BA in Journalism, English, Creative Writing or related communications field.
