This is an exciting opportunity to join Humana's Market Finance team in a Network Pricing Analyst role!

We are looking for individuals to join our team supporting network pricing and contract analysis. Associates in our department report contracting and pricing metrics for new initiatives as well as trend management efforts, and more. The Network Pricing Analyst role is responsible for forecasting and tracking the impact of contract changes, new contract pricing, and stop loss pricing. The Network Pricing Analyst will also complete medical trend analysis, utilization trend analysis, and other types of data analysis.

The Market Finance team is seeking an individual to support the multifaceted data research, contract and pricing analysis, and financial reporting needs of this initiative. Specific responsibilities may include:

• Complete routine and complex data analyses
  
• Compile date from multiple sources for report preparation
  
• Develop methods and criteria for analyzing and summarizing data
  
• Review and analyze results to identify variances, trends and opportunities for improvement
  
• Conduct detailed research to ensure accuracy of data

• Analysis: You posses the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative information into fact-based decisions and actionable approaches to add value to Humanas customers and partners.

• BS in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or other technical field
  
• 1-3 years experience in financial analysis and problem-solving
  
• 1-3 years data reporting experience (from dealing with large data sets to report production)
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL skills
  
• Experience in forecasting and predictive modeling techniques
  
• Experience in data analysis to ensure integrity and appropriateness
  
• Experience in data collection from multiple cross-functional sources
  
• Ability to manage multiple time sensitive tasks
  
• Ability to interact with associates at all levels of the organization
  
• Clear oral and written communication skills
  
• Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment and is also an individual contributor
  
• Flexible to changing business needs

• Demonstrated experience with network pricing and contract analysis in the managed care industry
  
• Chicago-based hospital and physician contacts are an asset
