Position: Business Development Executive - $500 Referral Reward
Position Overview
The Business Development Executive will drive continued growth by networking to find new business, consulting extensively with prospects in order to develop relationships and understand their business processes, and closing sales. The majority of client contact during 2-4 month sales cycle takes place in person at client sites in and around Chicago.
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated the ability to sell solutions to mid-sized business and preferably would have an interest in VoIP, SaaS or Telephony.
This position is about new client acquisition; account maintenance is handled by a separate support team.
Compensation
Year 1 Target: $100,000 ($50,000 base + $50,000 performance-based)
Plan is modest and uncapped: 10% of the sales force earned $300,000 each last year and are breaking their own records in 2008.
