- Successful completion of B.Sc.Computer Science or Engineering Technology degree.
- Experience using some or all of the following programming tools: C/C++, HTML, .NET, SQL, VB, Database software, PLC programming, and Pascal.
- PLC Programming experiences (Allen Bradley PLC5 and SLC 500, Siemens S5 & S7 & TI, Omron, Modicon, GE, etc.).
- Servo Motion Control programming experience (AB GML, Delta, Delta Tau, Emerson, etc.).
- HMI experience (PanelMate, PanelView, CTC Interact, XYCOM, Total Control QuickDesigner, etc.).
- SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) system experience (Wonderware, RSVIEW, FactoryLink, Intellution FIX, Simatic WinCC, GE Cimplicity, etc.).
- Experience with database programming considered an asset (DB IV, MS Access, MS SQL SERVER, Oracle, etc.).
- Proficiency with Multiple Operating Systems also seen as an asset (Win95, WinNT, Unix, QNX, etc.).
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
