Credit Specialist- Recent Grads encouraged to apply – Chicago

This credit specialist Position Features:
level: Non-exempt 14 or 15
Hours: 8 to 5
One to three years related experience within financial services
Great pay $19.00- $21.85/hr

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Prepare accurate and timely information for periodic portfolio reporting and or reviews and other reporting needs as directed by the manager
-Ensure collateral exception reports are monitored and support the central operations groups to ensure required follow-ups are addressed
-Ensure/support that critical transaction documentation is received in accordance with the documentation process to ensure timely processing. Ensure Lien searches are ordered, trace ownership documentation is received and creditor subordinations are sent and returned in a properly executed fashion as to ensure lien perfection in accordance with "client" policies and procedures governing such matters.
-Ensure timely, accurate and complete imaging and maintenance of all regional credit files.
-Assist in self-testing; ensure follow up and resolution of any issues highlighted
-Assist as directed by the manager during peak periods, with scorecard transactions by working other "client" credit officers and "client" inside sales managers to ensure timely turnaround and delivery of credit responses to dealers and sales force.
-Assist in any other credit risk initiatives requested by manager.
