Gary's South Shore Air Show 2011 is Saturday, July 16th and Sunday, July 17th  from 12 until 4 PM at Marquette Park Beach in Gary, Indiana.

The air show will go on rain or shine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What should I NOT bring with me?
The following items may NOT be brought onto air show grounds: alcohol, beverages, coolers, food, cans, glass, pets, weapons, tents. Do not bring anything that will not fit on your lap on the shuttle bus. There is limited space on the shuttles. All carry-in items and persons are subject to search. Formula bottles for young infants will be allowed

Coolers and tailgating are prohibited. Everyone will have to pass through a security checkpoint before entering the air show, just as you would if you were coming from Majestic Casino's lot.

A Twilight show with fireworks will be held on Friday, July 15th at approximately 6:00 pm. Admission is FREE

Boats are welcome to anchor in the vicinity of the air show site. All watercrafts must follow the instructions and rules of the U.S. Coast Guard and City of Gary Police & Fire Departments. Tune in to 88.7 FM to hear the announcing during the show

Take NICTD's South Shore/South Bend rail line from as far west as Chicago or as far east as South Bend and exit at the Miller Depot. There will be a shuttle bus to meet train travelers at the train stop at the scheduled stop times. Please visit the South Shore Line website for information and schedules
