We are looking for an Information Architect

Our Client in the Chicago Loop IL, area is looking for an Information Architect our client is a premier services firm located in down town Chicago, close to public transportation. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
3+ years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar role) demonstrable hands-on work in designing interactive experiences in a professional development environment, including information architecture, interaction design, and information design for dynamic, data-driven applications delivered via the web. Experience developing and documenting use cases, task flows, and detailed interaction designs.
Qualified candidates will have experience with flowcharts/hierarchy maps, wireframes, sites, Visio and MS Office
This positions role and responsibility will include. Executing on IA complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems. Creating the information architecture for transactional and informational websites. Strong understanding target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translating them into creative concepts and functional components. Demonstrated experience supporting teams to translate business requirements into meaningful interactive experiences Experience developing user personas and scenarios to clarify results of user research and developing prototypes for demonstration of concepts to clients. Experience working on and developing and documenting detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces
Preferred Degree in a related field, such as Library Science, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Technical Communications, English, History, Anthropology, Economics
