Position: Lead Developer
Role:
Inventables is looking for a top-tier web application developer that sits on the fence between design and engineering. You will help us accelerate, on a massive scale, the pace of global product innovation for our customers, which include companies such as Microsoft, Mercedes, and Mattel. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development of a scalable, business-critical web application. You will also manage this app and build and improve internal systems, and administrate our database as necessary. Are you an entrepreneurially minded, experienced developer? If you have leadership abilities and ambition, project management skills, and a deep understanding of security and scalability issues, this position is for you. The approach will be to use an Agile method of software development, requires knowledge of AJAX, and you should have experience with at least one of the following: Django, Python, .NET, ASP, Ruby, Perl, PHP.
Requirements:
A drop out, CS degree, Journalism major...we don't care we're looking for a Rock Star. You have:
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (see above)
- Experience with cross browser user interface design
- Website optimization skills - all our pages need to load in 0.5 seconds or less
- Experience building at least 3 slick web apps that have lots of users
- Experience in database design, SQL and object relational mapping
- An entrepreneurial, self-motivated, driven attitude, and a passion for your work
